Barossa stars shine for Baffc

Stars of Barossa organiser, Charmaine Reimann, handed over a cheque for $40,000 to the Barossa Area Fundraisers for Cancer (BAFFC) last week at The Clubhouse, Tanunda.

BAFFC representatives, Julie Stradwick and Jo Feltus were incredibly grateful to Charmaine for all her efforts with the fantastic event.

“Congratulations on an amazing job and also the promotion, and also with the dancers, everyone had a fabulous time,” Jo said. “The dancers, and especially Charmaine, really deserve a massive thank you,” Julie added.

Jo said the group will put the money toward the upkeep of their community transport cars.

ith this money, we’ll keep our wheels turning with our cars in taking our cancer patients down for their treatment, and helping with their transport costs.”

Charmaine said she was more than happy to donate to a local Barossa charity.

“It’s really good to be able to donate to a local charity that helps locals out that need it, so we’re very happy to have BAFFC as our charity that we were donating to,” Charmaine said.
